The FIC designation is awarded to field representatives who have demonstrated the desire to become knowledgeable, well-rounded sales professionals. The FIC is recognized by Million Dollar Round Table 
(MDRT) as a professional association, and the FIC designation earns 10 percent credit toward the LUTCF designation. 

Your agents can earn the coveted FIC designation by successfully completing the Ethics, Basic, 
Intermediate and Advanced FIC courses through Kaplan Financial Education, along with the corresponding exams. (These 
courses also qualify for continuing education credit in most states.)

In addition to the coursework, the FFMA requires that an agent must work for at least 12 consecutive months with a fraternal benefit society that is a member of the National Fraternal Congress of America (NFCA) and the FFMA, or the Canadian Fraternal Congress before receiving the professional designation of FIC.
